Valentine's Day Menu 2017

Delicious set menu created by our amazing new chef, Robert.

First Date (Starters):

1. Caramelised fig with ricotta and crispy Parma ham finished with homemade balsamic
2. Homemade venison pate served on a bed of mixed leaves, Melba toast and honey, lemon & redcurrant sauce
3. Smoked salmon cornet filled with prawns, chives & brandy served on a bed of mixed leaves
4. Deep fried Brie wedges with redcurrant jelly

Marriage (Main Course):

1. Beef & reef - chargrilled rump steak topped with pan fried king prawns on a bed of dauphinois potatoes and petite pois
2. Whole pan fried seabass on a bed of samphire, fresh blanched fennel & creamed mash potatoes, topped with garlic butter
3. Home made wild mushroom lasagna with garlic ciabatta and mixed leaves
4. Rack of slowly marinated spare ribs with chunky chips, salad and homemade bbq sauce

Wedding Night (Puddings):

1. Homemade baileys cheesecake with whipped cream
2. Homemade raspberry panna cotta with red berry compote
3. Selection of local cheeses, with fresh fruit and caramelised onion jam
4. Deep fried ice cream with strawberry coulis
5. Homemade spring rolls filled with bananas, raisins & rum, served with toffee sauce

2 courses £19.95, 3 courses £23.95 with a complimentary glass of champagne
